In April of this year, Aaron and his team were presented with the opportunity to go to Punta Cana and attend R&R ( rest and relaxation) R&R is a vacation but also an award ceremony where a conglomerate of business owners get together, to relax and celebrate the year’s accomplishments. At R&R Aaron was awarded a very prestigious award named “Owner of the Year”. Since he won this award we wanted to ask Aaron a series of questions about himself and his business.
“I originally wanted to help people so I went into the medical field however, the debt and 12 years of school were too much for me. Still knowing that I still wanted to help people and make great money I came across the business and found out that this is an amazing way to achieve that”
“I achieved success by being a great student and by developing myself as a leader. Now my focus is on developing those around me and helping them become the best versions of themselves. I’ve observed that instead of driving sales if you focus on helping and developing people your business is more productive and team satisfaction is a lot higher. A big reason why we are so successful at empire is due to the growth-oriented culture that we have, along with the family-like environment”

“The award was for being the best business owner in the organization.”
“Our office was number one for the Verizon, Inspire, and Truconnect campaigns all while we put 10 people into business for themselves this year.”
“I felt honored that my peers looked at me in such high regard, at the same time it made me feel like I still had so much more work to do. I would love to win this award again but, I also want one of the people in my organization to also have a chance to win this award as well. I know to achieve these goals I have to continue to excel in my teaching and my development of them up until that point.”
“Nothing really. My standards were already high, as I only want people to come into this business who are looking for and deeply care about the personal growth and development that we offer here at Empire. One thing that we have experienced is we have a lot more visitors who want to see how we perform here at Empire at such a highly productive rate.”
“2 years ago I knew I had to make a change. I stopped being so focused on sales and started focusing on leadership development and character-building. Now our major focus here at Empire is on developing people into better leaders and developing their character to become entrepreneurial and success-oriented. When I made this change I started to notice that my employees performed at a higher level but, they were also so much happier and enjoyed coming to work because they were seeing themselves grow as a people.”
